Michael Fagras has practiced law for over 23 years. He received his JD from St. Louis University School of Law in 1993. Mr. Fagras was a law enforcement officer for 10 years prior to earning his law degree and beginning his law career as a solo practitioner. After a year in solo practice, he was selected by Charles Lampin to join Mr. Lampin’s firm. Mr. Fagras is a tireless advocate. An experienced trial attorney, Mr. Fagras practice is centered on serious criminal defense, both federal and state, as well as his work in civil rights advocacy and employment law.
Mr. Fagras trial experience has extended from the Federal District Court for North Texas throughout the State of Missouri. He has handled federal death penalty and serious drug cases as well as many years of trial experience with sex cases.
In his role as a civil attorney, Mr. Fagras has participated in over 65 mediations and arbitrations. Mr. Fagras experience in mediation has culminated in awards of up to $332,500 as well as jury awards of $2,250,000.
Mr. Fagras is a Senior CJA panel member of the federal courts and has extensive appellate experience in both federal and state courts of appeal to include the U.S. 8th Circuit as well as the Eastern District of Missouri.
